Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular OR RN (CVOR) for a travel assignment requiring scrub and circulate skills, Epic proficiency, and on-call availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
• On-call is required for this position
• No block scheduling requests will be accommodated
• Floating is required; travelers are first to float, with the possibility of floating to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Must be proficient in both scrub and circulate roles in the CVOR
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references required: one from within the past year and one additional reference

Additional Information

• Travelers are welcomed into the unit and are expected to function at the same level as core staff
• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person on that day to obtain their badge/ID
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to offer acceptance, as RTO will not be approved after that point
• Accredited nursing school verification (ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL Dept of Health) is required for consideration
• Candidates must provide full demographic information — including address, email, full DOB, SSN, and RN license number — for consideration
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
