Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position caring for adult and geriatric patients, with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.

Details

• Med/Surg unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Floating to other units is required
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Weekend work is required
• Coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in Med/Surg
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
