American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience, including Ortho and Spine, with Epic proficiency and the ability to both circulate and scrub.

Details

• Work setting is a standard community hospital surgical environment with 40% inpatient and 60% ambulatory/outpatient cases
• Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Circulator responsibilities cover ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Ortho, Plastics, Pre-op, and Post-op
• Scrub responsibilities include Vascular cases
• CVOR, neuro, and robotics experience are not required
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3x12-hour day shifts (0700–1930)
• On-call is required, averaging approximately 6–7 eight-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule (roughly 48–56 hours per 6 weeks), with variability based on staff coverage
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Experience in Ortho and Spine is required; experience in Vascular, ENT, General, and GYN is also required
• Proficient scrub skills preferred, though total joint scrub experience is not required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is expected; significant time-off requests may impact the hiring process
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront — requests made after submission or offer may be denied
