American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor for a 13-week travel assignment requiring MA licensure, 5+ years of staff nurse experience including charge nurse responsibilities, and ICU and bed flow experience.

• Hospital-based nursing supervisor role covering multiple nursing units and departments
• PM and night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Patient population spans infancy through geriatrics across multiple units and departments

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursing degree required: diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of staff nurse experience including charge nurse responsibilities
• Leadership experience required
• ICU experience required
• Bed flow experience and transfer line experience required
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills to oversee care for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as the on-site hospital representative responsible for coordinating operational and administrative activities during evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Provides clinical direction and serves as a role model for nursing staff
• Evaluates nursing care delivery and ensures appropriate staffing decisions to maintain high-quality, cost-efficient patient care
• Functions as a member of the Nursing Leadership Team and collaborates closely with Clinical Managers
• Establishes and maintains interdisciplinary communication across units and departments
• Candidates must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B); the test may only be taken twice
• Two professional references are required, at least one of which must be from a manager-level or above (references listing 'supervisor' as a title are not accepted); at least one reference must include a performance evaluation completed within the past 12 months, and the second may be within the past 3 years
• References from fellow travelers are not accepted
• Candidates must reside 30 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
