American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Supervisor for a Long-Term Care position at a 300-bed rehab and nursing center in New York, working rotating day and evening shifts with every other weekend required.

Details

• 300-bed rehab and nursing center (Long-Term Care setting)
• Primary patient population includes Alzheimer's and dementia residents
• RN Supervisor role with med-pass responsibilities
• Rotating day and evening shifts (5x8-hour days): days 6:45 AM–2:45 PM, evenings 2:15 PM–10:45 PM
• Every other weekend required
• EMR: PointClickCare (experience preferred but not required)

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• LTC experience preferred; relevant experience in rehab, med/surg, or hospital settings will also be considered
• COVID vaccination required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• Supervise nursing staff while also performing med-passes and direct patient care
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — no RTO changes will be accepted after an offer is made
• Shift changes are not permitted after an offer is extended
• 16-week contract
