American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital position requiring Epic experience and an active AK RN license, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Magnet-designated facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Case Management unit with acute care patient population
• 5x8 day shift schedule; shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, or 4 weekend days within a 4-week schedule
• Floating between facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active AK RN license currently in hand is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must also meet the 50-mile radius requirement
• RTO is limited to one request of 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; holiday RTO is not available
