American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Critical Access Hospital in Vermont, covering L&D, Post-Partum, and Nursery with at least 5 years of experience required.

Details

• Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont
• Position covers Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Nursery/Baby Unit
• Day shift schedule
• Floating to other units required, including overflow coverage for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Vermont or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 5 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit in the area

• Scope of practice spans Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Nursery, and Perioperative care
• Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required
• The hospital is located in Newport, VT, a small town near the Canadian border known for outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
