Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Coastal Virginia, requiring prior travel experience, Epic proficiency, and an active VA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg unit with a focus on renal and diabetic patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift schedule (19:00–07:30)
• 3x12 or 4x12 shift options available — candidate preference should be indicated
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating required
• Holiday coverage required within the contract period
• EMR: Epic — proficiency required, no exceptions

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
• IV start and telemetry interpretation skills required
• Clean license and background — any license or background hits will result in disqualification
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
