American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Surgery position in California, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Outpatient surgery unit handling orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management cases
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Manages up to 4 OR rooms
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Floating between all facilities within California is expected and required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licensure is not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient or perioperative nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
