Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract in California, with Epic proficiency and a CA RN license required.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
• Surgical specialties include orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management
• Assigned to 4 OR rooms
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Floating between all facilities within California may be required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of assignment
