American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Ottumwa, IA, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• OB/GYN combined unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the hospital to other units as needed
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for active labor, 3:1 for couplet care
• Equipment includes intermediate fetal monitoring and Philips Tracevue
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. — AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
