American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Orthopedics Acute unit position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of med/surg ortho experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care orthopedics unit in a regional hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience in med/surg orthopedics required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• English proficiency (speak, read, write) required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for orthopedic patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• BSN and specialty certification are preferred
• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
