Description

American Traveler is seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and at least 1 year of pediatric experience for an inpatient and outpatient hospital setting in Staten Island, NY.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient setting serving pediatric patients ages 0–18 years
• Caseload of approximately 8–12 patients per day
• Epic EMR in use
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift

Requirements

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a pediatric SLP required
• Current, active, and unrestricted NY state SLP license required if applicable
• Only AHA certifications accepted for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• PALS required for pediatric positions; only AHA PALS is accepted
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in current specialty

Additional Information

• NICU experience is preferred
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but may be considered at a reduced rate
• Travelers who have previously worked at any facility within this health system may be subject to an eligibility review process before consideration
• Travelers will be required to complete orientation modules prior to assignment start
