American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position at an ambulatory and medical center in Waxahachie, TX, requiring 2+ years of GI experience and an active TX RN license.

Details

• Works in a GI/Endoscopy outpatient procedural setting within an ambulatory and medical center
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (AM shift)
• On-call required, including weekends
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license (or compact license with TX privileges) required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• Flu shot required — no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Performs clinical assessments, develops and implements individualized plans of care, and evaluates patient responses using the nursing process
• Delegates patient care tasks in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and individual patient needs
• Collaborates interdependently with the healthcare team to deliver integrated patient care
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at any facility within this health system may have limited eligibility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (typically August – November)
