American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Nurse Navigator for a Pediatric Oncology - Solid Tumor position at an acute care cancer institute in Boston, MA, requiring a valid MA RN license and PALS certification.

• Outpatient Nurse Navigator role within a Pediatric Oncology - Solid Tumor clinic at an acute care hospital
• Clinic serves approximately 75–90 patients daily
• Role focuses on coordination of care, telephone triage and symptom management, patient education, and select hands-on skills including immunizations, dressing changes, and NGT placement
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand (pending license not accepted)
• Current PALS certification required
• APHON chemo/bio provider certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pediatric Oncology experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Chemo administration experience preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster required — no exemptions

Additional Information

• Provides patient education, symptom support, and care coordination for pediatric oncology patients
• Performs telephone triage and symptom management as a core daily function
• Conducts hands-on clinical tasks including immunizations, dressing changes, and NGT placement
• Any time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application, as RTO may not be approved after signing
• Travel experience is preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Any solid color scrubs are accepted
• Parking is available on-site at a cost of approximately $13 per day
