American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and an active MD or compact RN license, with rotating night and evening shifts.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting within a hospital environment
• Patients across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric, with varied and complex multi-system diagnoses in a fast-paced environment
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Rotating night and evening shifts: 19:00–07:30 or 15:00–03:30; primary need is night shift
• Schedule of 3x12 or 4x12 hours accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Floating within the specialty and to sister ED facilities (Cambridge, Chestertown, and Queenstown) as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required

Requirements

• Active RN license for Maryland (MD state or compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ED/emergency nursing experience required

• CPI certification will be completed during onboarding
