American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient NICU setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Rotating shifts
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted); diploma, Associates, or BSN all accepted
• Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 6 months
• 2 professional references at supervisor level or above required for consideration
• Must have a current, verifiable RN license (NURSYS verification required)

• BSN preferred but not required
• Drug- and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
• Facility enforces a natural nail policy
• Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests must be submitted in advance
