American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital position in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license in hand and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting at a 407-bed Magnet-designated facility recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Level II Trauma Center
• Case Management unit
• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule with shift start times ranging from 0700–1700
• Every other weekend required, or 4 weekend days within a 4-week schedule
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• No on-call requirements
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free parking on-site

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license currently in hand is required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACM certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must also meet the 50-mile radius requirement
• Only 1 RTO request per 13-week assignment, limited to 5 days or fewer; no holiday RTO
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
