Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room for a travel contract in Plano, TX, requiring 12+ months of Neuro OR experience and a current TX RN license.

Details

• Day shift position, 6.5-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• On-call required 1–2 shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month
• Surgery unit within a comprehensive stroke center hospital
• Neuro-focused OR caseload, including neuro interventional radiology (IR) cases
• 6-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 12 months of current Neuro OR experience required
• At least 1 year of acute hospital OR experience within the last 3 years
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two completed supervisor/manager references required for consideration
• A valid, non-expired driver's license required for consideration
• NURSYS verification and state primary source verification (both within the last 30 days) required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration

• Candidates must be prepared to scrub and circulate any neuro case, including neuro IR
• This is a comprehensive stroke center, requiring versatility across complex neurological procedures
