American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - CVOR for a cardiovascular and endovascular surgery position at a Level I trauma center in Dallas, TX, requiring open heart and endovascular surgery experience.

Details

• Work in the Surgery department of a Level I trauma center with 29 ORs across two buildings
• Cardiovascular OR setting featuring two dedicated heart rooms and two hybrid rooms
• Perform 2–10 CV cases per day with a team of 2 CT surgeons and 8 vascular surgeons
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• On-call requirements: Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–7:00 AM, and 1–2 weekend shifts per month (Saturday/Sunday, 24-hour coverage)
• Holiday coverage is required

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Open heart surgery experience required
• Endovascular surgery experience required
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and ECMO required
• Two supervisor/manager references required for consideration
• Valid, non-expired driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration

• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel nursing position
• Cases include open heart and endovascular procedures in a high-volume cardiovascular OR environment
