American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Urology Outpatient Clinic position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated academic medical center, requiring Epic proficiency and a SC or Compact RN license.

• Outpatient urology clinic setting within a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, academic teaching hospital with 820 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope to meet unit needs is required
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ONS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Radiation badge required; candidates must obtain their own radiation badge as the facility does not provide them
• Completion of pre-start online modules (approximately 4 hours) required before the assignment begins
• Scrub color requirement: solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• Parking is available via a nearby garage; a one-time $20 registration fee is required for a hang tag
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on unit and manager availability
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
