American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Urology Outpatient Clinic position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated academic medical center, requiring Epic experience and an active SC or Compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient urology clinic setting within a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, academic teaching hospital with 820 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope to meet unit needs is required
• Epic EMR used; experience is required
• Radiation exposure is part of the role; a radiation badge is required (must be provided by agency)
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must be fully licensed prior to starting
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ONS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Works within a collaborative, patient-centered urology clinic integrating technology and innovative treatments in an academic setting
• Orientation modules must be completed prior to start date
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Candidates who have previously worked at any MUSC facility as permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on unit and manager availability
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Scrub requirement: solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• Parking is available nearby with a one-time $20 registration fee for a hang tag
