Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Cardiac position requiring at least 2 years of cardiac telemetry or stepdown experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Schedule includes 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday), 4 Mondays, and 4 Fridays
• Floating may be required to PCU, Stepdown, and IMCU units
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Blocked scheduling is not available
• EMR: Epic experience required
• 10-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — NC or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 — no exemptions accepted
