Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Cardiac position requiring at least 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry or PCU/Stepdown experience and an active NC or Compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: 6 scheduled weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday), plus 4 Mondays and 4 Fridays
• 10-week contract
• Floating may be required to PCU, Stepdown, or IMCU units
• On-call responsibilities required
• Blocked scheduling is not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• Orientations are held bi-weekly

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and will be offered a reduced pay rate
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
