American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) travel position in Dayton, OH, requiring at least 2 years of inpatient psychiatric experience and active AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications.

Details

• Inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric unit setting
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS/RQI certifications not accepted)
• Current CPI certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of psychiatric patients through the nursing process
• Develops individualized nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and colleagues as appropriate
• Participates in discharge planning
• Candidates who have previously worked at a Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must disclose facility name, dates worked, and reporting manager
• Certifications must not be expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
