American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (PCU) position in San Francisco, CA, requiring a current CA RN license and at least 1 year of Med/Surg Step-Down experience.

Details

• 8-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST) overflow Step-Down unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes general medical/surgical step-down cases
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Rotating weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Step-Down or PCU experience required
• 2 supervisor references from the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all current certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care addressing actual and potential health and illness problems
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
