American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care facility in Torrance, CA, requiring a CA RN license and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Case Management unit
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Patient caseload ratio of 1:20
• Every other weekend required; must be available for holidays
• No floating within the unit, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within California
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted provided it is obtained by start date
• Minimum 2 years of acute care case management and/or discharge planning experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply but will be screened
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be disclosed prior to submission
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Business attire or scrubs are acceptable dress code
• All required certifications must be included in the candidate profile
