American Traveler is hiring a travel RN House Supervisor for a night shift position at a hospital in Lander, WY, requiring 2 years of house supervisor experience and multiple AHA certifications.

Details

• Hospital nursing supervisor unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active WY RN license or compact multi-state RN license required
• Required certifications (all through American Heart Association): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of recent House Supervisor experience in a hospital setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care areas, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs and ensure quality of care
• Maintains and enforces compliance with nursing policies, infection-control protocols, medication administration procedures, and state nursing regulations
• Monitors department records, audits documentation, and oversees medical and administrative equipment readiness
• Provides emotional and psychological support to patients and families, and promotes patient independence through education and counseling
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
