American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a community hospital and regional referral center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, on a 13-week contract
• LDRP unit on the 2nd floor of a 171-bed, Joint Commission-accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• 8-bed unit serving childbearing-age women, with occasional gynecological surgery cases
• Common diagnoses and treatments include normal labor & delivery and normal newborn care
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
• Equipment includes GE monitors and Panda warmers
• EMR system: OBTV/Medhost
• Weekend requirement: every 4th weekend
• Occasional floating required

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, and AHA-issued BLS
• At least 2 years of L&D experience required
• Experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

• Black scrubs required
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full time elsewhere during the assignment
