American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with WA state license and 1+ year of experience for a 13-week outpatient Radiation Oncology contract in Yakima, WA.

Details

• Outpatient cancer center setting within the Radiation Oncology department
• Adult patient population focused on radiation oncology and medical oncology
• Advanced therapy modalities including SBRT, SRS, DIBH, IMRT, and IGRT
• CT simulation and patient positioning performed regularly
• Uses Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Uses Aria EMR — experience required
• Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements
• No floating or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active Washington State Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Proficiency in CT simulation, patient positioning, tattoos, and chart interpretation
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator required
• Experience with Aria treatment planning and EMR system required
• Ability to accurately interpret and execute radiation treatment plans
• One supervisor-level reference required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start

• First-time travelers are welcome with 2+ years of experience
