Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU, PICU, pediatric, and adult care experience for a day shift position at a children's hospital connected to a larger medical center.

Details

• Primary assignment in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a children's hospital, with float to adult units at the connected main campus as needed
• Both hospital campuses are located on the same site
• Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current RRT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• NICU, PICU, pediatric, and adult care experience all required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable — must be active at time of consideration
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract team members are expected to actively participate in clinical student education and support alongside their regular clinical care responsibilities
• AHA-issued certifications only accepted — no equivalent substitutions
