American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring night shift availability, rotating weekends, and a minimum 100-mile radius from the facility.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:7

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the facility's service area — local candidates are not accepted
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Orientation begins on Sundays with online CBL (computer-based learning) modules
• Contract nurses are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside their standard patient care responsibilities
• 13-week contract
