American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring at least 6 months of home health experience and active NM or Compact RN licensure.

Details

• Home health setting affiliated with a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's acute care hospital (554 staffed beds)
• Patient caseload ratio of 1:5
• Travel territory covers up to a 35-mile mileage radius; mileage is reimbursed at the federal IRS standard rate
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Charting via Cerner
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS and MOAB (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of home health RN experience required
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider for medical exemptions
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers without current MOAB certification will complete a 4-hour de-escalation course during their first week; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation
• A second set of fingerprints for CYFD background screening is required upon arrival, as patients may include households with children
• Black scrubs are required
• RTO requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
• Travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark must take a 6-month break before returning
• All scheduling and time-off requests should be submitted upfront at the time of consideration
• New contracts and extensions must be a minimum of 10 weeks
