American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel contract in New Mexico, welcoming first-time travelers with telemetry monitoring support available 24/7.

Details

• Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes stroke and post-surgical patients
• Telemetry central monitoring tech available 24/7 — nurses are not required to independently interpret dysrhythmias
• Night shift: 18:30–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Floating required
• Weekends required as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs must be any solid color with no logos
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
