American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florence, AL, requiring a minimum of 3 years of L&D experience and the ability to float to Postpartum.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit located on the 3rd floor of a hospital setting
• 9-bed L&D unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Adult obstetric patient population including normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to Postpartum required
• EMR systems: Centricity and Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, and EFM
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care, and time management
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue — non-compliant colors, scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content, and inappropriate footwear are not permitted
