American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric OR Surgical Tech with NBSTSA certification and cardiovascular experience for a 13-week travel contract at a children's hospital in Memphis, TN.

Details

• Pediatric OR setting within a children's hospital
• 4x10-hour day shifts scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (Thursday off); schedule subject to change
• On-call requirements of approximately 3–4 calls per month
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment, or 3 years of experience without prior travel
• Pediatric OR experience required — strictly enforced
• Cardiovascular OR experience strongly preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will not be considered; at least one completed prior travel assignment is required

• This is a pediatric-focused surgical environment with strict candidate requirements — all qualifications should be met prior to applying
• BSN is required for this children's hospital position
• Former permanent or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after an offer is extended will not be considered
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work at least 1
