American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Infusion Center position requiring 1 year of infusion experience, Epic proficiency, and an ONS Chemo/Biotherapy certification.

Details

• Infusion Center setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, four 9-hour days per week
• 36 hours per week, full-time
• No weekend shifts required; the unit is closed on weekends
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required; no pending licenses accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• ONS Chemo/Biotherapy Certificate Provider Card required
• Minimum 1 year of infusion nursing experience required
• Associate's degree (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• English fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient nursing care
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and both supportive and restorative therapies
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Two references are required for consideration
