Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 3 years of OR experience with a strong focus on orthopedic and spine surgery, including weekend and call rotation.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Specializes in knee and hip replacement, spine, hand, and foot surgery cases
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend and call rotation shared with staff
• Floating required within a system of 5 hospitals based on unit needs and within skillset

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience with major emphasis on orthopedic (knee and hip replacement) and spine, hand, and foot surgery
• Both circulating and scrub experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• Completed skills checklist specific to the OR required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but qualify for a local pay rate
