American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Home Health position in Bangor, ME, requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Details

• Home health setting based out of the Bangor, ME unit
• Day shift hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, structured as either four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts
• Weekend rotation required
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — ME state license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of home health nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Flu vaccination required for eligibility to start
• Two professional references within the past year required, at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable; peer references not accepted)
• Copies of all current certifications required
• Valid driver's license required
• Full SSN required

Additional Information

• Manager interviews are required as part of the hiring process
• Candidates must have a permanent address located 100+ miles south/southwest of the Bangor facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible
• Flu vaccination is required prior to start; medical exemptions are accepted on a case-by-case basis and require a minimum of 2 weeks for committee review
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
