American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Clinical Supervisor for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, requiring at least 2 years of clinical supervisor and telemetry experience and a DC RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit, department 6200, in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a US hospital
• Minimum 2 years of clinical supervisor experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CPI certification required
• BSN highly desired; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides shift-to-shift oversight of clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and resource utilization for daily operations
• Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patients served in a competent, caring, and efficient manner
• Role models organizational values and leads or participates in department process improvement initiatives
• Facilitates employee engagement activities, including professional and shared governance participation
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
