American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position requiring a minimum of 1 year of hospice experience and proficiency with HCHB EMR.

Details

• Home-based hospice setting operating out of a central hub/office
• Geriatric patient population receiving end-of-life care
• Typical caseload of 5–7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Back-up on-call responsibilities required (details to be discussed during interview)
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
• HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospice nursing experience required
• HCHB EMR proficiency required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Provides in-home end-of-life care to geriatric patients within an assigned geographic territory
• Minimum of 30 points required weekly
• Flexibility with assigned territory is expected
• Timely documentation and communication are essential to this role
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• iPad provided for charting and documentation
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel pay rate
