American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a 13-week travel contract requiring a CA RN license, 5 years of experience, and availability for call and weekend coverage.

Details

• Hospital house supervisor role focused on bed control, facility operations, and staffing oversight
• Serves as the administrative liaison to all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians when leadership is not on-site
• Provides functional guidance across all units and serves as a resource for patient care and non-clinical decision-making
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Call and weekend coverage required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Prior hospital house supervisor experience expected given the scope of responsibilities
• Two supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all current certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Oversees bed control, monitors staffing levels, and responds to codes and Rapid Response Team (RRT) activations
• Ensures hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied across all departments
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
