American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric OR position at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma pediatric hospital in Boston, requiring prior travel nursing experience and strong pediatric OR skills.

Details

• Pediatric OR setting within a 485-bed Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, acute care facility
• High-acuity pediatric surgical patient population
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Up to 4 off-shifts every six weeks
• Short call required up to 3 times every six weeks
• Up to 1 weekend shift and 1 weekend call every six weeks
• Holiday shift and call coverage required as needed by the unit
• Charting performed in Cerner
• OR scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong pediatric OR experience required
• Proficiency in operating room procedures and OR nursing practice
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Facility is a nationally recognized pediatric academic medical center with Magnet designation and Level I Trauma status
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a different pay rate than those traveling from beyond that radius
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
