Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring a minimum of 3 years of circulator experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including General, Robotics, and Orthopedics.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Day shift schedule: 6:15 AM – 6:45 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Weekend-heavy schedule: both Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday
• On-call requirement included as part of this role
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience required
• Must be highly proficient in General, Robotics, Colorectal, GU, GYN, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT surgical specialties
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Weekend shifts require the ability to work independently across multiple surgical specialties
• This facility is located in an area commonly impacted by hurricanes — upon starting, the unit manager may assign you to an Emergency Team with an expectation to shelter in place or serve on a relief team during storm events; candidates who are not comfortable with this expectation should not apply
• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
