American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with an active WA state license and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a travel contract at a Magnet, acute care teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the Radiation Therapy unit of a 637-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Procedures include SBRT, ABC treatment, pediatric cases, conformal therapy, electron treatments, and TBI
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Weekend availability required
• Floating within the hospital may be required
• No on-call or floating to sister hospitals required
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records
• 13-week contract minimum

Requirements

• Active WA State Radiation Therapist license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT (T) certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• At least 2 travel assignments beyond initial hospital experience required
• Pending WA license not accepted

Additional Information

• Teaching hospital and trauma center experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required
• COVID vaccination and booster required — no exceptions
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no radius restriction
• RTO is capped at 1 week maximum and cannot be requested during orientation week; keep RTO to a minimum
• Former facility staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable
