American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist for a pediatric-focused echo department, requiring pediatric experience, structural heart training, and BLS and RCS certifications.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient hospital echo department setting
• Patient population includes both adults and pediatrics
• Daily rotation between outpatient echo studies, inpatient echo studies, and procedure coverage
• Procedures include 3D echo, bubble studies, pharmacological stress echos, TEE, treadmill stress echos, and general cardiac TTE
• GE ultrasound equipment used
• PACS system utilized
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of echo/cardiac sonography experience
• Pediatric echo experience required
• Structural heart training required
• Current BLS and RCS certifications required
• Proficiency with PACS, GE ultrasound equipment, and cardiac TTE
• Experience with 3D echo, TEE, bubble studies, pharmacological and treadmill stress echos
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Scrubs are provided
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
