American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring at least 1-2 years of NICU experience, with night shift availability and every-other-weekend commitment.

Details

• 42-bed Level 3 NICU in a hospital setting
• Neonatal patient population with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required approximately 1 day per 6 weeks
• Floating required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP required
• Minimum 1-2 years of NICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted — candidates must apply individually
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
