American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring at least 2 years of experience and ACLS certification, with night shift availability.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Prior IMC or intermediate care experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted; candidates must apply individually
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• No RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation; no more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved for the duration of the contract
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
