Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring a valid NM or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience, with day shift scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting with 32 beds
• Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
• Floating required within scope of practice
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Charting via Epic (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs may be any color, but must be free of any hospital logo
