American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Mixed med/surg and intermediate care patient population on a PCU unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on patient assignment each shift
• Night shift schedule, 7p–7:30a
• 36 or 48 hour per week options available
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers may be considered for this position — check position details for eligibility
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
